"A Staged Reading of Two New Plays"

Join us at 8pm Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Napa Valley Playhouse, 1637 Imola Avenue in Napa, for the staged reading of two new one-act plays by Lucky Penny co-founder Barry Martin. "Father of the Man" and "Puccini Under" will be read by Taylor Bartolucci, Adam Burkholder, Andy Demsky and June Alane Reif.

"Father of the Man" is a dialogue between a possibly mid-life-crisis-affected father and his war-on-terrorism-veteran son as they try to find common ground after life changing events. 

"Puccini Under" tells the story of a writer striving to exorcise his demons on the page, with the help of his characters. 

This staged reading is an important part of the development of these new plays as they are heard by an audience for the first time. General admission (at the door only) is just $5.
