Support Lucky Penny

Lucky Penny Productions formed in 2009 as a small for-profit business - an unusual model for a theatre company. With great support from the community, and by keeping our budgets very lean, we came out in the black on every one of our productions over the course of three years. We have invested all of our profits back into our productions and have worked hard to try and make each show a little better than the last.
Unfortunately, the profit margin has not been large enough for us to achieve our goal of funding larger-scale productions, including musicals.
At the start of 2012 we decided it was time to recreate Lucky Penny as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, to allow us to fundraise, accept sponsorship and seek grants. We now are Lucky Penny Productions Incorporated with a Board of Directors and Officers, bylaws and all the other required elements. Arts Council Napa Valley is serving as our fiscal sponsor until our 501(c)3 application and tax-exempt status is finalized.
If you want to see Lucky Penny grow and develop the capacity for bigger productions, now is the time to show your support. You can be guaranteed that just about every lucky penny we raise will go directly into our productions.
We've planned a small but exciting season of shows for 2012, starting with "A Glass of Cabaret!" on March 11-12 at Silo's in Napa. With your support, these two nights of performance will raise a significant portion of the $10,500 we have set as our fundraising need for 2012. These funds will finance our two full stages productions later in the year (soon to be announced.) Please help us bring these new and exciting theatre experiences to Napa Valley.
